Our Easter-themed craft workshop (formerly known as the children’s workshop) is again held on Good Friday, 14th April, between 10am and 12noon in the Church. A variety of activities will be available for all the family to enjoy as well as coffee and hot cross buns.
All Flowton parishioners and those in our Benefice villages are all warmly welcome.
There will be a music concert in Offton Church on Saturday 25th February at 7.30pm, featuring our priest in charge Rev Dan Harrison on Cello, followed by a swing band ‘The Wednesday Men’.
Tickets £8 adults, £4 for under 12s. Tickets available from Offton PCC members or on the door. More information in the Link magazine. In aid of St Elizabeth Hospice and the Offton Church Bell Fund.
Our church services will follow a new pattern in 2017.
1st Sunday – 8am – Holy Communion
2nd Sunday – no service
3rd Sunday – 10am – Family Service
4th Sunday – no service
We are especially lucky in Flowton that we hold our Carol Service on Christmas Eve at 6.30pm. It is a traditional service based on the nine lessons and carols format, fully lit by candlelight only. Everyone is warmly welcome to join us, bringing family and guests as we can pack a huge number of people in our small church – we are usually full with standing room only for those who arrive last. As usual the Benefice Choir will be joining us to augment the singing with the traditional carol harmonies and descants, as well as singing a couple of pieces themselves.
Please do join us, but arrive early to guarantee a seat. There are usually some light refreshments after the service. Start your Christmas in style.
**UPDATE**
We had an amazing carol service on Christmas Eve with the Church almost overflowing. Many thanks to all who attended, to Rev. Dan Harrison, the Benefice Choir and Eileen their accompanist, and everyone who decorated the Church. It was a fabulous start to Christmas.

A warm Flowton welcome to our new Priest in Charge, Rev. Dan Harrison who was licensed at Barking Church a few weeks ago.
Rev Harrison’s licensing service will take place on Monday 5th September at 7pm at Barking Church. All welcome from our eight parishes to welcome our new Priest in Charge to the Benefice.
